Have you ever been in a situation where you saw an obstacle, while the person standing next to you sees an opportunity?
When our daughter, Lauren, was in middle school, we decided to change her school. She had to meet with a counselor to go over her test scores. The new school wanted her to be prepared for their level of education.
The counselor later told us a story about Lauren. As they were walking towards the office, they came upon a set of doors with handles. Lauren tried to open the door by pulling on the handle, but it wouldn’t budge. The counselor was about to tell her to push, but decided to wait and see if she could figure it out.
