I am on vacation this week, and I forgot to bring my microphone to read another chapter of “Drop the Leash.” Sigh…
Instead, I thought we could swap stories about our dogs.
What do they do to make you smile?
How do they make you feel better?
Can they sense your mood and know just what to do?

My dog knows when I need some love. She will put her head on my lap and sigh, as if she has found a place to rest and restore.
Her sigh of contentment always brings me out of myself and back to her - a loving being who knows how to draw me out of my head and back to my heart.
