Mindfulness v. Meditation

There is a difference.

Hello Empowered Wayers -

A lot of people ask me to distinguish between mindfulness and meditation. It may not seem like a big deal, but it kind of is.

Mindfulness is experiencing life as it moves through you, without attaching to it. It’s staying present in this moment and allowing it to flow without your comments, judgment, or reaction.

Meditation is a form of mindfulness, but it is much different in practice. When you meditate, you go inward and allow thoughts to go by, without attachment. Instead of interacting with the outside environment, you are immersed in your inner world.

Remember - your mind is a time traveler. It travels to the past or projects into the future. The way to control your mind is by being mindful throughout the day. The path of self-growth starts with meditaiton.
